John Kendrick Bangs

John Kendrick Bangs (1862-1922) was an American humorist, editor, and lecturer. A New York native, he worked variously as a writer and editor for Life, numerous Harper’s publications, Munsey’s Magazine, New Metropolitan Magazine, and Puck.
