Kazuo Ishiguro

Japanese-British author Kazuo Ishiguro (b. November 8, 1954) is the award-winning writer of several novels, screenplays, and works of short fiction. His works have thus far all been first-person narratives focusing on his characters’ flaws and attempted reconciliations with their troubled pasts, and often feature historical settings. His latest work is the alternate reality/science fiction novel Never Let Me Go (2005).
