Mitch Albom (1958 – ?)

Mitch Albom is a multi-talented professional (author, journalist, screenwriter, playwright, radio and television broadcaster, musician) raised in New Jersey. He is best known for his inspirational literature, namely Tuesdays with Morrie, an account of the last days of Albom’s Brandeis sociology professor suffering from ALS, and The Five People You Meet in Heaven, a speculation about the afterlife. He has consistently been a bestselling author and has won numerous awards for his sports journalism.

Albom also heads up three charities from his residence in the Detroit area: The Dream Fund, A Time to Help, and S.A.Y. Detroit.
